Created as part of the series A Void, Now Filled by Rubes Prattley-Jones, this ceramic sculpture explores textures sourced directly from nature, and was exhibited at the end of a 2025 residency at Auckland Studio Pottery.
Made at Anderson’s Beach, Auckland by pressing soft clay directly onto a rock. It was then glazed and fired in a gas kiln, causing the sea glass to melt and merge with the glaze.
