Created as part of the series A Void, Now Filled by Rubes Prattley-Jones, this ceramic sculpture explores textures sourced directly from nature. It was exhibited at the end of a 2025 residency at Auckland Studio Potters.

Made at Anderson’s Beach, Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland by pressing soft clay directly onto beach bedrock. This piece was fired in a gas kiln, causing the found sea glass to melt and merge with the glaze.
